Sepehr is a PhD student in the Neurobiology & Behavior program. He received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Tehran. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research on human visual perception using a combination of psychophysics and EEG methods. After graduation, he was a research technician at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) in Iran, where he gained further exposure to primate neuroscience. He also conducted research on time and distance perception in humans in Mehdi Sanayei’s lab. Sepehr completed his third rotation in the lab from May to August 2025.
