Molecular Technician
Raquel is a molecular biologist with experience in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics research. She received a BS in Biology from University of California, Los Angeles. During her undergraduate research, she joined Dr. Jake Lusis' laboratory where she studied targeted genes involved in Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. After graduating, she joined the Lusis laboratory full time as a staff research associate. In the El-Shamayleh lab, Raquel is a molecular technician focused on viral vector production. Raquel joined the lab in September 2023.
