Zitong is a PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering program. He received a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where he became interested in neuroscience and started studying the visual system of primates. Zitong joined the lab in September 2026. He is broadly interested in systems and computational neuroscience, with a focus on vision, population coding, and neural representations.
